Terms of Use
Welcome to Habits. By downloading, installing, or using the Habits iOS application ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Because Habits is distributed through Apple's App Store, your use is also governed by Apple's Standard EULA for Auto-Renewable Subscriptions , which is the controlling agreement between you and us for subscription purchases.
1. License
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Habits on Apple devices you own or control, in line with Apple's App Store Terms.
2. Free tier and Premium
Habits is free to download and includes a free tier with full access to the core experience for up to three habits. Habits Premium unlocks unlimited habits and additional features. Plans currently include:
- Monthly subscription
- Annual subscription
- Lifetime one-time purchase
Final prices and availability are set in App Store Connect and shown to you at the point of purchase.
3. Auto-renewing subscriptions
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Renewal is charged to your Apple ID within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel anytime from your Apple ID Settings on your device.
- No refund is provided for any unused portion of a period, except where required by law.
4. Lifetime purchase
The Lifetime tier is a one-time, non-consumable purchase that does not auto-renew. It remains tied to the Apple ID used to purchase and is restorable across your devices via "Restore Purchases" in Settings.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where Apple's EULA expressly permits.
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose.
- Resell or sublicense the app or your subscription.
6. Your data
Habits stores your data locally on your device. You retain ownership of all habit data you create. See our Privacy Policy for details.
7. Disclaimers
The app is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We make no warranty that the app will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, and we are not a medical, mental-health, or coaching service. Habits is a tool for personal habit tracking only.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the developer of Habits be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the app. Our total cumulative liability for any claim relating to the app shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months prior to the claim.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The current version is always available at this URL.
